Partner, attorney at law, after completing his studies at the University of St. Gall (HSG), he moved to a position as assistant in private law at the University of Basel. Following his bar exam in Basel in 1997, he worked in the legal department of a large international auditing and consultancy company (PricewaterhouseCoopers) in Basel for five years. Since 2003, he has practised law with a focus on corporate law transactions, (international) contract law, insolvency and debt restructuring law, arbitration as well as stock exchange and capital market law. Further, he is a member of the board of directors of the Historical and Antiquarian Society of Basel and of the foundation Pro Augusta Raurica.
Martin Wepfer speaks and corresponds in German, English and French.
