Published: Thursday, June 20, 2013

Business law firm, DWF, is expanding its corporate team with the appointment of partner Christian Lowis.

A public companies specialist, Christian has a wide range of expertise in high level mergers and acquisitions, disposals, takeovers and corporate governance. He brings over a decade of experience to the firm, having acted for publicly quoted and privately owned businesses across a number of sectors during his 13 year career.

Joining DWF’s Birmingham office from Squire Sanders, Christian’s in-depth knowledge of corporate finance and equity capital markets will further strengthen the corporate team’s offering, swelling its numbers to more than 100, nationally, and supporting its work with FTSE 100 and blue chip companies.

Stephen Houston, national head of corporate at DWF, said: “As a team providing highly valued counsel to some of Britain’s biggest businesses, it is imperative that we continue to recruit only the best to our ranks. Christian’s in depth knowledge of the needs of our clients – built up over more than a decade in the industry – makes him yet another well qualified expert to count among our team.”

Christian added: “The excellent reputation of the DWF corporate team is well earned. The firm has an innovative and refreshing approach to the market and client service, so it’s particularly exciting to join DWF at this stage in its development. I look forward to contributing to its already impressive growth.”
