Announcement - New member of the Lawyer Network in Austria

The Lawyer Network is delighted to announce that Dr. Stefan Lange of 'Kosesnik-Wehrle & Langer' has joined the Lawyer Network. Dr. Stefan has joined the Lawyer Network as our exclusive Insolvency member in Austria.

Stefan Langer (born in Vienna in December, 1968) undertook his legal studies at the University of Vienna from 1988 to 1991 (Magister iuris). He subsequently studied at Cambridge University, England and at the University of California, Davis and Berkeley in 1992 and 1994. He graduated Doctor iuris summa cum laude at the University of Vienna in 1993 with a doctoral thesis on criminal sanctions against corporate executives who mis-state their company's financial accounts. After clerking for various judges during his mandatory court apprenticeship, Stefan Langer joined KPMG auditors and tax consultants in Vienna. From 1993-96, he trained as a candidate at several Vienna law firms, among which, Preslmayr & Partners.

He was admitted to the Vienna bar in January 1997 and founded Kosesnik-Wehrle & Langer together with Heinz Kosesnik-Wehrle in 2001.

Stefan Langer has been appointed receiver-in-bankruptcy regularly by courts since 1997. He works in all areas of insolvency and related civil litigation, debt claims, business reorganization, consumer protection law, unfair competition litigation, commercial law, corporate law, tax law and IT law.

Stefan Langer publishes regularly on questions of the insolvency law, consumer law and unfair competition law.
