CNPLaw LLP is pleased to announce that two of our lawyers, Mr Edwin Chia and Ms Hazel Ho, have been listed as Singapore’s 21 Most Influential Lawyers Aged 40 and Under in 2020 by the Singapore Business Review (“SBR”). They were selected from hundreds of nominees based on thought leadership, influence and success.

CNPLaw’s Managing Partner, Ms Lisa Theng congratulates Edwin and Hazel for their accomplishment, and have the following testimonials to share about the two lawyers:

  • “Edwin Chia is an outstanding individual who deserves to be recognised for his work. He is a counsel of choice in the areas of Dispute Resolution and Private Client Practice. Edwin is an advocate who strategizes for and with his clients and is a meticulous practitioner with an eye for details. He is effectively bilingual, and is often called upon to advise high net worth clients who are more proficient in Chinese and clients from China. To his colleagues and many of his clients, Edwin is often described as a humble yet confident lawyer who listens to the needs of others.”
  • “Hazel Ho is an excellent M&A and corporate lawyer and am glad she is recognised for her achievements. Hazel is highly intelligent and has an impressive professional track record, having advised on a myriad of significant transactions, including high-profile multi-million-dollar deals. She is client centric in her approach to practice and has an ability to articulate complex legal issues in a way that clients can understand and is able to help clients achieve their intended business objectives quickly. Hazel has a bubbly personality and many clients and colleagues enjoy working with her.”

The ranking is now on its seventh year. SBR recognises Singapore’s 21 legal elites specialising in matters such as mergers and acquisitions (M&A), criminal litigation, international arbitration and dispute resolution, with expertise in areas ranging from banking to white collar crime.
