Partner. Master in Corporate Law at Universidade de São Paulo (in progress). LLM at Northwestern University, Post-Degree in Corporate Law at Mackenzie, and MBA in Corporate Management at Unicamp. Professor and coordinator of the M&A course at IICS/CEU. He was partner at Bichara, Barata & Costa Advogados, responsible for the corporate/M&A area (2011/2012), general counsel at Sadia S.A. (2003/2010), and foreing attorney at Greenberg Traurig, LLP, in New York (2008). He received the 2010 Global Counsel Award from International Law Office in association with ACC (Association of Corporate Counsel). He is member of the Brazilian Corporate Law Institute (IDSA), the International Bar Association (IBA), the Private Law Institute, and the Brazilian Corporate Governance Institute (IBGC). He is Executive Officer of the Lawyer’s Defense Movement Institute. He is also professor and one of the coordinators of the M&A Program at Instituto Internacional de Ciências Sociais (CEU).
