Leading Kazakh mining company, Eurasian Natural Resources Corporation (ENRC), is being investigated by the Serious Fraud Office (SFO) in the UK amid accusations of fraud, corruption and bribery.
ENRC, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange, has confirmed that it is fully cooperating with the investigation.
The news follows the resignation last week of the company’s chairman, and last year, ENRC set up its own investigation to look into claims of unlawful payments.
