General Commercial practice extending to all manner of commercial contracts, licences and franchises with particular focus on the law of the arts both visual and performing arts, grants for arts courses, intellectual property relating to trade marks, designs and patents, information technology with particular reference to computer contracts of all kinds and personal data privacy protection and compliance with all regulatory issues.

I have a long interest in the research into and information of the visual arts and related historical development of China, India, Indonesia, South East Asian countries and all associated developmental national histories in the region. I am the author of “Ships of the Silk Road – The Bactrian Camel in Chinese Jade”, Bloomsbury Publishing 2019. and of “Celestial Beings – a study of the development of human flight through the Flying Apsara, the Kinnara, the Garuda and anthropomorphic avian hat ornaments – all in Chinese jade” – forthcoming publication in 2020.

Frequent delivery of papers on the intellectual property issues and information technology issues relating to the practice of these disciplines in Hong Kong and the region.
